These Disney Movie Characters Receive a Star Wars-Themed Makeover

Move over Star Wars and make room for these Disney movie characters dressed up as the latest Storm Troopers. While you might assume that these Storm Troopers might be male, they've in fact been replaced with none other than the iconic Disney princesses.

The gender-bending role reversal is quite striking as the Storm Troopers costume is fitted to the curvaceous bodies of the princesses. The image is designed by artist Isaiah Stephens that has combined the words of Disney with Star Wars -- fitting as Disney now owns the rights to the Star Wars enterprise. The illustration showcases Mulan, Aurora, Mulan and Tiana walking across a hot desert letting their hair flow in the wind. This illustration exemplifies how pop culture characters are beginning to become more interchangeable as male and female genders are seen as fluid constructions.
