UV Disinfecting Robots

UBTech Announced a New Line of Disinfecting Robots at CES That Use UV Light

UBTech, the China-based robotics company, announced at CES that it will launch a new line of disinfecting robots that use UV light to clean various surfaces.

UBTech created different versions of the robot, including the Adibot. The robots will be available to consumers in the near future and will be listed at a price of $15 a day with financing plans. The UV disinfecting robots are currently being used in a pilot test with the Delaware Department of Education, which will use the robots at a number of different locations.
The company also indicated that although the disinfecting robots were created during the COVI-19 pandemic, they can have a use far beyond the present pandemic. This is because sanitation will continue to be an important need during the COVID-19 pandemic and long after.
