Girl Scouts has returned to CES to debut its 'Digital Cookie 2.0' platform. In recent years, organizations such as Girl Scouts have taken an interest in encouraging young women to explore future careers in STEM. Now the organization has developed a hands-on program that creates a more engaging learning experience for girls.
Digital Cookie 2.0 is an interactive web platform, which provides a hands-on learning experience that is both educational and entertaining. The newly enhanced website features a wide variety of games, videos, quizzes and other activities that teach girls about STEM-related fields. The platform is designed to address gender barriers and ensure that young women feel encouraged to pursue future careers in STEM.
In addition to debuting its new online platform, the organization will also host a Girls' STEM Summit at CES 2016. The summit will give 25 Girl Scouts the opportunity to interact with some of the top innovators in STEM as part of a guided tour of CES.
