Crossboundaries blends Digital and Physical Spaces

The architectural firm Crossboundaries is focusing on blurring the line between digital and physical spaces with its latest project. The firm has redesigned the Suzhou headquarters for the brand Aimer, transforming an initially conventional structure into a multifaceted complex that integrates corporate offices, retail showrooms, a hotel, and digital broadcasting studios.

Crossboundaries' design philosophy centers on creating a fluid and interconnected experience for visitors and employees. The firm utilized curved forms, transparent materials, and an open layout to blur the boundaries between different functional zones. The building's exterior employs a curtain wall with a dynamic pattern. The interior, on the other hand, boasts brand-specific colors and materials.

The overarching objective of the project is to establish a physical environment that actively reinforces the company's identity and fosters deeper engagement by merging commercial, cultural, and digital activities within a single, cohesive space.
