Diego Stocco is a mastermind of avant-garde musical composition; the video and gallery above are from his latest project, "Music From a Tree."
For "Music From a Tree," Diego Stocco turned a tree in his backyard garden into a multidimensional musical instrument. By whittling twigs and rigging his fingers with microphones, Diego Stocco was able to record this awesome track you see here.
Implications - Diego Stocco set up microphones in different areas so that he could intensify the sounds from the tree. One of the tools that he uses actually sounds similar to a violin, but has a squeakier quality. At the end of the video he writes, "Music from a tree," with leaves.
