The Desk Primitive by Dave Keune blends the natural aesthetic of raw materials with a certain contemporary element that in all combine to create a lamp that looks like it belongs to a caveman. To explain, the Desk Primitive by Dave Keune is made with a distinct focus on shape; the base, arm and lampshade are all variously shaped cones, which aid the simplistic form in appearing both basic and modern at the same time.
The base and arm are made from oak wood, whereas the expansive lampshade is crafted from metal, which plays with texture to create an interesting finish. Finally, the Desk Primitive by Dave Keune features two counterbalance weights that help to not only keep the lamp in place, but also allow the striking structure of the product to stand with purpose.
