The conceptual Delta Bamboo is a modern dwelling design from EEMY that works to provide protection from the elements when required in the event of inclement weather. The pyramidal building features a shapeshifting aesthetic that can remain open during pleasant weather to provide inhabitants with ample space for living as well as open-air areas for relaxing.
The structure draws design influence from traditional Filipino Bahay Kubo houses and is achieved using natural materials. The building could be closed during bad weather to offer enhanced protection, while the floating design enables it to easily withstand typhoon conditions.
The Delta Bamboo could be constructed at a cost of $8,500 in just 28 days to make it a low-cost architectural solution.
