The Delorean DMC-12 is Making a Real-Life Automotive Comeback

While there are loads of Delorean DMC-12 models out there as well as experimental concepts, the DeLorean Motor Company is taking things next level by actually manufacturing a real care based on the Back to the Future vehicle.

By the time the vehicle first appeared in Back to the Future, production of the vehicle had ceased and the company had all but disappeared. However, the year 2017 is set to see the return of the vehicle.

The company is set to construct about 300 units of the iconic vehicle, each of which will feature powerful and eco-friendly engines rather than the gas-guzzling equipment of the 1980s car.

The Delorean DMC-12 will cost between $80,000 and $100,000, no small price to pay for the privilege of owning a car that is iconic in pop culture and set to be reproduced in high-tech fashion for the modern car enthusiast.
