The new teaser was released on DeLorean Motor Company's 54th anniversary and features the tagline "the future was never promised." The video features the reimagined DeLorean model opening its gullwing doors in a moody, mostly blacked-out space. In addition to the intriguing and dramatic teaser video, DMC took to social media to encourage users to "sign up for the premiere of the DeLorean in 2022" while using the hashtag "#ElectricVehcile." The vague invitation suggests that the company will be hosting a premier event in the future and that the newly teased car will be an all-electric model.
