The March 2022 eco transportation trends are chock-full of electric vehicles, engines that run on renewable energy, and personal transportation methods such as scooters and bikes.
Two of the most notable innovations in eco transportation are from Toyota, Yamaha, and Kincsem. Each of these three companies are working to create an engine that runs on hydrogen power instead of greenhouse gasses. Toyota and Yamaha have created a 455 horsepower V8 that does not use any fossil fuels. These are incredible performance statistics for a hydrogen-powered engine. On the other hand, Kincsem is working on its own hydrogen-powered hypercar in collaboration with McLaren.
For personal transportation vehicles, take Yamaha's latest line of e-bikes for example. These bikes offer a variety of convenient features for a solo rider, such as USB ports, Bluetooth connectivity, a built-in stopwatch, and an LED headlamp. On top of being environmentally friendly, these bikes offer a utility that traditional mechanical bikes simply cannot match without added accessories.
