'Fisker,' the designer automotive startup named after its founder Henrik Fisker, has finalized its release date for the '2023 Fisker Ocean.' The Fisker Ocean series was originally unveiled in 2019 with an intended release date of 2021. Now, the vehicle has been confirmed for a 2023 release alongside a variety of improvements over its previous showcases. Most notably, the 2023 Fisker Ocean is being developed through a collaboration between Fisker and 'Magna Steyr.' As part of this collaboration, the vehicle will run on Magna Steyr's platform and will be developed at Magna Steyr's automotive plants.
The Fisker Ocean carries an MSRP of $37,499 USD, which is under its originally announced price of $40,000 USD. This is an excellent price point considering the 275 horsepower engine, the 250 miles of range per charge, and the vehicle's acceleration rate of 0-60 mph in 6.9 seconds. Fisker will also be debuting the 'Fisker Ocean Extreme,' which will contain a longer-lasting battery and more impressive performance specifications
