The Deep Sea Angler Fish lamp is pretty terrifying. The gaping jaws filled with razor sharp teeth, the blazing eyes and overall mechanical look will have people running in fear rather than feeling comforted by the light it sheds. It doesn't help that this giant light fixture looks like it could devour its human master in one single gulp. Thankfully, it is more art than furniture.
Created by artist Justin La Doux, the Deep Sea Angler Fish lamp is made up of bicycle parts, knives, a shovel, and other recycled objects. According to the designer, "It stands 5 feet tall with base, 4 feet wide and 5 feet long." The body also lights up eerily through the use of motions sensors when a person approaches it.
