The D'Buk Editors ad campaign takes its tag line literally, 'Reading transforms you.' It illustrates this powerful message by turning the reader into whomever they are reading about. For instance, if reading a memoir or biography about Andy Warhol, Nelson Mandela or Albert Einstein, people will more than figuratively step into their shoes.

Conceived and executed by Garcia Robles, an ad agency based in Guatemala, the D'Buk Editors ad campaign essentially focuses on the fact that immersing oneself in different perspectives is more than educational, it can be life-changing. Many often yearn to be someone else, even for a short period of time. Art directed by Victoralfredo Robles with creative direction by Francisco Rodriguez, the images were illustrated by artist Armando Pereira and shot by photographer Oz Rodriguez.
