Fitness-Focused Cafe Payments

Diners at David Lloyd Clubs' 'Run For Your Bun' Pay with Exercise

'Run For Your Bun' is the name of a unique cafe concept from David Lloyd Clubs that calls for those who eat at the establishment to pay for their meals by exercising.

In place of payment stations and cash registers, the coffee shop is outfitted with stationery bikes, treadmills, exercise mats and rowing machines. When visiting Run For Your Bun, diners are able to place a lunch order and then launch into a quick 10-minute high intensity interval (HIIT) workout to "pay." A reciept at Run For Your Bun spells out the amount to pay in burpees, crunches, planks and more, alongside total savings measured in calories and "optional service charges" that include additional fitness activities.

Considering that this is one of the most lucrative times of the year for people to think about signing up for a gym membership, Run For Your Bun offers a fun way for people to ease into their new health, fitness and wellness goals.
