Sanrio is Rewarding Crowdfunding Supporters with Hello Kitty Dates

As part of the rewards of a crowdfunding campaign, five lucky people will be going on a 20-minute date with Hello Kitty. Sanrio, the company behind the Hello Kitty brand, recently launched a fundraising campaign for a summer festival at Puroland, its amusement park located in Tokyo, Japan.

The festival will take place between July 15th through to September 3rd, and pledged funds will be used for the venue's decoration.
The ultimate goal of the campaign is to create a sense of unity between Hello Kitty, the summer festival and fans to make the event more successful.

Supporters who donate 1 million yen ($8,972) can invite Hello Kitty to a local festival in their city, and for 2 million yen ($17,944), you can get an overnight stay in the Puroland park for up to five people.
