TAXA Outdoors introduces the Dark Sky Mantis, which is a matte black trailer that is designed with inspiration of the eclipse, which recently took place. CEO of TAXA, Garrett Finney was formerly at NASA as a senior architect with the Habitality Design Center. He was a part of the department that worked on engineering human-centric living designs onboard.
This gives him a strong understanding of the needs and risks of exploring space. The Dark Sky Mantis is designed to host four adults, measuring 105 square feet, and boasts inspiration from the structure of a spacecraft. Storage is a strong priority to keep items tucked away and secure. The space also has an indoor kitchen, a built-in shower, air conditioning, a toilet, a furnace, and an awning to extend the interior outdoors.
