Jeni's 'Almond Milk Cortado' is a New Dairy-Free Ice Cream Flavor

Jeni's recently launched a new dairy-free ice cream flavor in collaboration with fashion designer Clare V, based off of her favorite drink. Cortado is a Spanish term that describes a drink made by combining roughly equal parts espresso and milk for the purposes of lowering the acidity of the beverage. The Almond Milk Cortado is an all-new vegan-friendly flavor that is made by steeping Intelligentsia's El Gato coffee beans and freshly ground almonds into coconut cream. As a result, the flavor is said to offer a "pure, clean coffee flavor" and no bitterness whatsoever.

Unlike many of Jeni's inventive ice cream flavors that can be ordered by the pint online, this indulgent coffee-inspired non-dairy ice cream treat can only be found at Jeni's nationwide scoop shops for a limited time.
