To combat this issue Tel Aviv-based design firm PELEG DESIGN created the Jumbo Cutlery Drainer that drains water through and elephant nose-inspired design.
The Jumbo Cutlery Drainer is a rectangular-shaped cutlery holder that is ideal for storing your utensils and cookware after hand washing. The container is shaped like a modular little gray elephant. To avoid housing excess water, the Jumbo Cutlery Drainer cleverly uses the elephant's nose to drain out the unused water. This way your clean dishes aren't left sitting in a pool of old water for days on end.
