This McDonald's Location Offers Customizable Menu Options

A soon to be built McDonald's location in St. Joseph, Missouri, is being heralded as the "McDonald's of the future" due to its upscale interior and customizable menu options. In recent years, McDonald's has made drastic changes to its restaurants and menu. This new location plans to take the changes even further by testing out a few experimental ideas of its own.

Unlike other McDonald's restaurants, the St. Joseph location will feature a bigger dining area with a modern interior. In addition to the contemporary decor, the store will also boast more customizable menu options. For instance, the store plans to extend McDonald's existing Create Your Taste menu beyond burgers to include customizable dessert options as well. In addition to the custom entrees and desserts, customers will also be able to order all-you-can-eat fries.

The experimental McDonald's location demonstrates how the chain is continuing to tweak its atmosphere and menu in an effort to cater to changing consumer preferences.
