At the Winter Fancy Food Show, Saffron Road introduced its Dark Chocolate Chai, Salted Caramel and Honey Roasted flavors, offering an alternative way for consumers to enjoy the taste of the legume.
While there are many recipes available for roasted chickpeas that share how consumers can make their own Sriracha-hoisin, garlic-parmesan or Moroccan-spiced varieties at home, there are far fewer sweet options available, especially when it comes to prepackaged products.
