Animated Slow Cooker NFTs

The Crockpot 50th Anniversary is Being Celebrated with an NFT

The 50th Crockpot anniversary recognizes the creator of the original slow cooker and the creation of the brand's first-ever NFT. The NFT is currently up for auction on the OpenSea platform and it takes the form of a GIF that looks back on the brand's inception in 1971 up until present day.

The first non-fungible token from the brand references the newly launched Design Series and it celebrates one design per decade. As Christine Robins, CEO of Home Appliances at Newell Brands, says "We wanted to celebrate our history without getting too nostalgic. Minting an NFT might seem like an unexpected move from the Crockpot team, but expect to see more newness from our brand as we embark on the next 50 years."

Proceeds from the NFT auction will go towards supporting Feeding America.
