The New CRKT M16 Upgrade the Original With Lightweight Performance

The CRKT M16-02KS is an affordable folding knife that is sure to be one of the most useful tools in users pockets. Designed by the late Kit Carson, the M16 sports a tactical look, ergonomic handle and impressive flipper mechanism. The knife features a black oxide finished tanto style blade made of 12C27 Sandvik steel. The entire knife plays on its tactical design with a sleek and stealthy appearance. The blade is 3-inches in length and is a perfect size for carrying out everyday tasks.

The grip is a perfect size for the knife and makes reaching the thumb stud quite easy. The Carson flipper, named after the knife maker, allows for simple and smooth opening. The blade is locked in with a frame lock mechanism, an upgrade over the liner lock used by its predecessor. The handles on the CRKT M16 have also seen an upgrade moving to 2Cr13 stainless steel, reducing the weight of the knife and keeping it at 3.7 ounces.
