The Critical Corset was designed by Vanessa Carpenter and Dzl Mobius to tighten when the heart rate reaches above 80bpm.
An air pump system and heart rate monitor are hidden on the inside of the Critical Corset. The corset monitors the heart rate and when it begins to speed up, it inflates, causing it to tighten around the body.
Apparently the makers of the Critical Corset are exploring “the rules of attraction” with this design; however, I can’t imagine this corset would be comfortable after tightening, and wouldn’t your date notice when your waist is suddenly several inches smaller?
