Cristian Poddighe, a design student at NABA in Milan, Italy, created this stylish concept work for the coffee brand illy. Poddighe chose a dramatic palette for his sleek and chic cylinder cases. He wanted to create packaging that could be displayed in the home and reused.

Cristian Poddighe also created a three-pack concept that comes in a stylish wood and aluminum container that resembles a clever cabinet one would find at a high-end furniture store. Poddighe has created a persona for the brand. He makes illy Coffee appear as a high-end and fashion-forward asset to pre-existing decor. Evoking the mood one wishes for when entertaining guests over a cup of coffee, this illy Coffee packaging becomes part of the furniture.
