Pinterest's New Creative Workspace is in a San Fransisco Warehouse

— November 16, 2013 — Art & Design
Pinterest is a hugely popular social media site, but it's easy to forget that there must be a ton of people and a super creative workspace behind it all. The New York designers of 'All of the Above' were asked to create a new space for the popular pinboard site because the company had expanded so rapidly, it needed a new headquarters to accommodate a much higher volume of people.

This new San Fransisco warehouse responds to the tripling of Pinterest's employees with a 45,000 square foot space to serve as the workplace for 300 people.

Since the huge two-storey warehouse is spacious and industrial, the designers created small pockets to help create flexible areas for meetings, lunches, parties and physical spaces to serve as real-world pinboards for inspiration and idea-sharing.
