Candice Massaria's Creative Food Illustrations Inspire Travel

In a new series of creative food illustrations titled Edible Architecture, an artist has created quirky illustrations of famous landmarks from around the world made up of local food. The illustrations have been produced by French illustrator Candice Massaria, in partnership with travel company cheaphotels4uk.com.

Included in the series is Big Ben in London, made up from the Brits' favorite fish and chips, the Statue of Liberty in NYC comprised from the much-loved hot dog and Himeji Castle in Japan created from Japanese sushi.

The unique illustrations are an interesting production of using recognized items to create something totally new, a growing movement among artists of late. The incredible artwork is also a fabulous celebration of the amazing culture and local cuisines around the world that are loved by locals and tourists alike.
