The bright yellow background and heavy block font are not the only aspects that make these creative event posters intriguing. Photographed and edited as if the posters were under a thin layer of clear water, these Tenerife Design Festival ads are three-dimensional. The campaign was run by Barcelona-based creative agency Lo Siento.
Most paper or digital posters are flat out 2D. Especially with heavier and tight-knit font, digital posters can even look like infographics. By adding this cool and refreshing effect of water, this campaign ad automatically becomes more meaningful with a sense of visual depth. The resulting effect is playful, attention-grabbing and visually fascinating, perfectly representing the annual design festival held in the Canary islands.
