This has to be one of the weirdest attempts at viral commercials I have seen for a long time. And I have seen quite a lot while writing for Trend Hunter.
The title of Ray-Ban's new commercial, â€œCow gives birth to a dude,â€ is self explanatory. So check out the video for a nice visual.
The commercial is directed by Minivegas for Cutwater ad agency.
Implications - Advertisers on the vanguard have realized that audiences have developed the ability to tune out traditional ads; consumers are over-stimulated and naturally filter out ads. For marketing campaigns to be successful on this new playing field, they will need to find exciting and bold ways to deliver their messages.
