The Complementary Couple Photography Series is Inspired by the Internet

This couple photography series allows artistic pair Leta Sobierajski and Wade Jeffree to explore their romantic relationship with inspiration from the internet. With no shortage of hilarious portraits to reference, the pair embarked on an ongoing photographic project called Complements. Complements was also influenced by famous couples throughout history.

The funny pictures typically feature a colorful backdrop and a silly prop. From sharing a banana 'Lady and the Tramp' style to kissing with their heads covered in tin foil (in honor of The Lovers by René Magritte), the humorous couple photography is refreshing. They can also be seen wearing KISS-like gothic makeup, with spaghetti hanging out of their mouths and facing backwards with their arms crossed behind their backs. The partners set out to explore their complementary relationship and collaborate artistically.
