Non-Members Are Able to Place Costco Orders With Google Express

With the new Google Express Service, shoppers will be able to place Costco orders even if they don't hold membership in the exclusive warehouse. The service also extends to other large retailers including Target and Walmart. This service will give non-members access to a wider variety of goods such as groceries in bulk and electronics. Shoppers will be able to place online Costco orders in areas where Express is operational using the app, website, Google Home or Google Assistant-compatible devices. However, those who are not Costco members will have to pay a $10 access fee, unlike Costco card carriers.

By partnering with these retailers, Google could prove a worthy adversary for Amazon as the e-commerce company continues to extend their reach.
