Taking advantage of the meetings of walls is an efficient way to use space in tight areas of the home; the Corner Light would be particularly effective because it offers so many features in one small design. Created by Angelika Seeschaaf, the quirky fixture combines a lamp, a shelf, a mirrored surface and a wireless phone charger.
The stainless steel sheeting was manipulated with folds to take an abstract and asymmetrical shape. It presents its user with a reflector for applying makeup, a creased flap for suspending sunglasses and accessories, a ledge for setting down your keys and your wallet, and (presumably) induction technology for juicing up your handset. Who would have guessed that a nook in your foyer could have so much to offer.
