The Christmas season is fast approaching and there is no time too early to prepare for the festivities to come -- Velvet Creme is a donut shop that was first established back in 1947 and it kicks off the holiday season with a mouth-watering Coquito donut. Coquito is a traditional libation that is coconut-based with condensed milk, egg yolks and sweet notes of cinnamon and vanilla.
The sweet dessert is the brainchild between the shop and cocktail label Koh-kee-toh, as the duo worked together to create a recipe that infuses Puerto Rican cocktail flavors into the donut. The Coquito donut consists of a blend of vanilla and coquito glaze that welcomes Christmas cheer with open arms.
