Montreal-based firm La Shed Architecture turns up the knob on sleek and polished design with this contemporary black-and-white house. Located in the Canadian city, the interior of the space is well-defined through a strongly contrasting dual color palette. While La Shed Architecture keeps the space in a minimalist fashion, the highly sculptural hits throughout — from the beautiful spiral staircase to the exceptionally sophisticated furnishings, equip the Park House with a strong and classy appeal.
The contemporary black-and-white house was subject to a dramatic renovation and the commissioned professionals truly did it justice in the context of modern architecture. The brick facade was concealed with a coat of white paint, while a wine cellar, a pool, a garden, and a detached garage were unified through the use of contemporary sensibilities.
