Postmates Collaborated with Instacart on No Contact Deliveries

Postmates is collaborating with Instacart to introduce no contact deliveries. No contact deliveries can be accessed in the ‘Dropoff Options’ in the delivery section of the app. Users will have a number of options including the front door, meeting on the curb, or no contact. This gives users more control over how their orders are handled and give people the option not to interact with the delivery person if the user does not want human interaction.

Postmates is also releasing a ‘Leave at my door’ option for grocery items. Overall the new features allow users to limit interactions through the app, which may appeal to some. Additionally, the new feature could be popular among health-conscious individuals.
