The 'Modefi' commuter bicycles are intended to offer riders the ability to customize their ride like never before in order to make them more attuned to different needs of different riders.
The 'Modefi' bikes are created using carbon fiber-impregnated plastic as well as 3D printing technology in order to increase the number of customization options that are possible. Users are able to choose from a number of storage options and other aesthetic modifications in order to make the 'Modefi' commuter bicycles look and act just as they desire them to. As the number of consumers utilizing a bicycle for commuting purposes increases, the need for more complex, customizable solutions will likely continue to grow.
The 'Modefi' bicycles are the design work of Nicole Assini, Louise Goacher and Jane Neiswander for the Georgia Institute of Technology.
