Ink Imagery Beer Cans

The Commonwealth Brewing Co. Offers Experiential Imagery on Its Cans

The Commonwealth Brewing Co. is based in Virginia, USA and works out of a converted fire station – a creative environment that also translates into the company's branding ideas.

The company enlisted the creative agency Thirst to create the imagery for its beer cans. The agency decided to take a simple yet creative approach by mixing various oils, vinegars and inks on a plate and then taking photos of their creations. The images are meant to reflect the flavors of the beer they are representing. The Imperial Chocolate Stout, for example, features a dark background with golden and orange hues swirling together.

The Commonwealth Brewing Co. has managed to create branding that is highly distinct from what its competitors offer.
