The Little Sky gelateria is a colorful ice cream shop in Melbourne that is designed by Ewert Leaf. The destination is definitely highly experiential for visitors who not only get to enjoy the softly chromatic interior and modern furnishings, but they also get to see how gelato is made.
When determining the aesthetic of the colorful ice cream shop, local studio Ewert Leaf tapped blue and pink--which have long proven to be accessible colors for a contemporary approach to interior design. Salmon-colored seat cushions match the wood panels. Terrazzo accents are present on the side-tables, making for a more visually engaging accent. In addition, the colorful ice cream shop's furnishings were all made by "a network of local manufacturers," especially for the project.
