Despite the fact that the many pieces of this color bamboo lamp are identical, there are several unique elements to the concept product. Inspired by the fast-growing woody grass with sectioned stalks, the Bambus Lamp can be assembled freely by simply stacking the stem-like components.

The user designs his own floor lamp in this way, by determining its height by his preference. Once the color bamboo lamp is set up, the user can sync to the digital light fixture by means of his smartphone, in order to affect the ambient quality too. A color wheel on the Bambus app enables the owner to change the neon hues of the illuminating bars, which can be different in each section. This project is yet another clever example of inviting the consumer to influence a product's design.
