Smart Herb Gardens

The 'Click & Grow' Herb Gardens are a Lazy Gardener's Dream Come True

After a hugely successful crowd-funded display last year, California-based Click & Grow is getting set to launch the second generation of its smart herb garden, with the first units ready to be shipped to consumers.

Click & Grow is a smart garden system that automatically provides the correct amount of water and nutrients needed for plants to grow. The core technology is based around a NASA-inspired nanotech soil material that is specially designed to supply plant roots with optimum amounts of oxygen, water and nutrients.

With the help of Click & Grow, all you need to do is simply plant the herbs, fill up the machine's water reservoir and press the 'go' button. In just a matter of weeks, full-grown herbs will be ready to pluck.

The second generation of the Click & Grow has a more advanced hydroponic system than the original herb garden. The system also includes a low-power LED grow light to provide optimal growing conditions in the absence of sufficient natural light.
