Crease is a furniture collection that's made entirely from one sheet of clear acrylic.

The minimalist process involved in the making of the piece is reflected through its simple aesthetic. The collection, which features a side table and an arm chair were made by making simple cuts in material and using a heat-bending technique. By using a minimal amount of material, the collection promotes the elimination of excess waste within the furniture and design industry. The collection name 'Crease' was inspired by the creasing of a piece of paper, which automatically creates two joint surfaces.

The transparency of the furniture elicits a sense of fragility which is sharply contrasted by its apparent functionality. 'Crease' is exemplative of a movement within the furniture industry that blurs the lines between art and object, to create a series of products that are as serviceable as they are aesthetically pleasing.
