Transformative Kitchen Surfaces

The 'Clean, Cut, Cook' Transforms to Suit a User's Needs

The compact nature of smart design could soon be available for the kitchen, as researchers develop technology like 'Clean, Cut, Cook,' which, although conceptual, could be the only kitchen appliance one would need.

As its name would suggest, the shape-shifting device features three modes: a hard surface for chopping veggies, a temperature-controlled surface for heating meals and a washbasin for the cleanup afterwards. In theory, this compact kitchen aid could be "prep station, cooking hub, and sink all at once." In addition to its flexible abilities, the device would also bring an interesting element of portability to the kitchen, offering users the ability to cook for guests in different rooms and making for a unique dinner party or barbecue experience.
