Dead Suspended Artworks

Clark Goolsby Hoists Sculpted Bodies and Hands in His Strange/Love Exhibit

California-based artist Clark Goolsby has a very eccentric style that produces very avant-garde and creative artworks. Graduating from the University of California in 2002, Clark Goolsby has started making his presence known in the West Coast art scene. Since 2008, Goolsby has been featured in several publications and taken part in many exhibits showcasing some phenomenal work.

The latest work by Clark Goolsby is an exhibition called Strange/Love that features some head-turning pieces. The exhibit, which is set to show at the POVevolving Gallery this month, spotlights some over-sized ventriloquist-like art pieces. 'Dead Man,' which is the highlight of the exhibit, is a giant, wooden skeleton measuring at 36 x 84 x 216 inches suspending form the galleria ceiling.
