Citizens of Soil Olive Oil is Arriving at Waitrose

Citizens of Soil olive oil is making its way into Waitrose locations in the UK where shoppers will be able to pick up the high-quality product in a decidedly eco-friendly packaging. The product will be available in 500ml glass bottles and refill pouches to encourage consumers to refill the packaging rather than immediately recycle it upon being used up. The empty refill pouch can be brought to one of the 295 Waitrose locations for disposal at the soft plastic drop-off after being washed and dried.

Oil Buyer for Waitrose Tom Shiel spoke on the arrival of Citizens of Soil olive oil saying, "Citizens of Soil is a brilliant concept. They’re taking quality olive oil to a new level, and supporting small growers, while offering a more sustainable packaging option.”
