Weather-Inspired Photography Series

Christopher Jacrot's Rain Series Makes Art of the Weather

French-based photographer Christophe Jacrot has finally completed his newest photo project he calls 'Rain.' Unlike a lot of photographers that like to capture beautiful women or their loving family members, Christopher took his talents to the wondrous outdoors and decided to capture the weather.

Jacrot's inspiration for this series drew from rain itself. Quoted saying that he likes the way that "rain, snow, and 'bad weather' awaken a feeling of romantic fiction" on his site, Christopher wanted to awaken the beauty of this "bad weather" through his art to showcase that it's more than just a little dribbles here and there. In the big city where everyone's first concern is getting undercover when rain starts to fall, Christopher Jacrot wanted his audience to truly see what they ignore.

'Rain' is far more than just a photography series to this amazing artist, but a sort of PSA to those who don't really realize the truly remarkable universe we live in.
