In order to celebrate the holiday season in a fun and festive way, this year design agency Robot Food created a special Christmas nutcracker to send to family, friends and clients.
Branding and packaging for the traditional wooden nutcracker updated this age-old holiday staple with an elegant black box adorned with a gilded pattern that brings together both nuts and bolts. Playing off of the design agency's identity, the robot-inspired nutcrackers themselves were all hand-painted in bright primary colors, making them perfect for displaying during the holiday season. Each of the limited edition nutcracker robot boxes was sealed with a numbered label, indicating how precious each and every one of the special nutcracker gifts are.
