The Christian Montenegro Muertitos Series is Deadly Accurate

Argentinean illustrator Christian Montenegro has designed a series entitled Muertitos that pokes fun at subcultural stereotypes and icons from pop culture.

The illustrations are personified dead people and their stereotypical look, such as a Beatle, a Ramone and a hippie. The Muertitos series also features copy at the bottom to identify each subculture. The skeletal bodies don unique outfits to help portray their respective stereotypes. The punk, for example, has spiky hair and a Union Jack shirt.
