Although they undoubtedly created a menacing image, the army of Stormtroopers was actually composed of 500 pint-sized android mannequins. The Imperial troops were accompanied by Chinese Star Wars ambassadors, who handed out blue and red light sabers to the impressed crowds that gathered to see them.
