This children's chair design by Finnish designer Eero Aarnio is multi-purpose. The cup-resembling stools can be flipped horizontally and ridden as a rocking horse. This design, called Trioli, is fluidly shaped with curves and rounded corners so that it can work as a chair-rocking horse hybrid. The handle, which may seem random on the back of the chair when it is upright, comes into play when the chair is flipped forward.
Made of rotational-molded polyethylene, the chairs are safe to use and lightweight. The material is very durable and suitable for outdoor use. The Trioli's waterproof texture would make a convenient and fun seat for a day out on the beach. The chairs come in three different seat heights. The chairs can also be used as stepping stools.
