For those looking for a fun and dynamic chair, the Chesterfield by Christian Fiebig might be a good option, even though it lacks functionality. This armchair is everything but practical because it's made out of paper. Designed by German-based artist Christian Fiebig and 'manystudio,' this piece is composed of polygon surfaces, giving it a digital look.
Inspired by the look of a genuine chesterfield chair, this object was first created digitally and then built in colored paper. The aquamarine hue makes this chair incredibly appealing because the tonality adds modernism to the design. Fiebig explains the whole concept and material, "The use of paper allowed to realizes the real scale model in an easy way but not to create a functional chair." The designer is currently working on developing a practical version.
