The Chelsea Bravo 2014 Lookbook for the Spring and Summer collection is based on the simple yet “dysfunctional emotion” of breaking seasonal boundaries and rules.

The collection, which has a Central African dress theme, is modeled by a man wearing a kufi—or a traditional African hat—with plain, simple shirts. Some of the shirts feature some basic designs, such as different shaded shapes and patterns that bring out the modernity and freshness that the designer intends to mix.

Chelsea Bravo’s 2014 Lookbook collection predominantly uses natural fabrics such as linens and cottons in tones of white, beige, gray and cream, and uses a metallic coated cotton and reflective techno accent. While some of the designs feature baggy one-pieces, others feature a two-piece set with loose shirts and pants that give it a very modern, street look to the traditional African dress theme.
